Five thousand authorisation decisions a second
A concurrent policy server with strict reliability guarantees, plus telemetry that cut global operational support workload by 60%.

Remote-access authorisation for US federal clients. Every request is evaluated against a live rule set. The reliability bar was high enough that "mostly correct" failed.
Throughput
The server sustains 5,000 requests per second while evaluating a full policy rule set per request. We kept rule evaluation off the hot path where we could and removed contention instead of tuning around it. The concurrency model degrades predictably instead of collapsing at the edge.
Observability
We integrated proactive monitoring telemetry into the operational tooling, with automated alerting on the conditions that preceded incidents.
Global operational support workload fell 60%. The number of problems stayed the same. The system stopped needing a human to notice them.
